Welcome to Balhannah Driving School, a family-owned business offering driving lessons throughout the Adelaide Hills and eastern suburbs.

Although based in Balhannah, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and are happy to accommodate any location that will help maximise lesson time and learning.

Testimonials

Our success stories

Jackie Totman

Emma’s loved her driving lessons with Martyn, he has been very patient and calm. She has really appreciated the way he explains things in different ways and specially loves the magnetic cars, on the road diagrams!

Paula Marie

Martyn was a pleasant instructor. He listened to my goals. He made sure to address them right away including encouraging me to ask as many questions as I want. He assessed my basic skills such as making turns. He was not uptight at all which helps make the sessions conducive to learning. At the same time, he made sure to challenge me by offering me the opportunity to drive down busier streets if I was confident enough.

Jo

Martyn was fabulous- my 16-year-old was really positive about how he handled the lesson and taught. She was very enthusiastic and looking forward to more lessons. Martyn’s communication was excellent, and he was really accommodating. Highly recommended!

Brightlin B

Martyn was an exceptional instructor—always polite and understanding. His teaching style made driving lessons both easy to grasp and genuinely enjoyable.
